Specializing in sushi, ramen, hibachi, and fresh seafood, this vibrant restaurant masterfully balances tradition with innovation, offering a menu full of thoughtfully crafted dishes that cater to both adventurous palates and comfort-seekers alike.

Start your culinary journey with the enticing appetizers—imagine the Crispy Nachos, where crab delight and avocado are paired with delicate tempura chips, lashings of spicy mayo, and a pop of masago, creating a symphony of textures and flavors. Or savor the Spicy Tuna Nachos, a daring fusion of fresh tuna and creamy avocado that dances on the tongue with every bite. For a purist’s joy, the Sushi Appetizer and Sashimi Appetizer present the freshest chef’s selection of nigiri and sashimi, promising a clean, vibrant taste of the sea that Brandon locals rave about.

The hibachi offerings showcase expertly grilled proteins and vegetables, each plate steaming with the rich aroma of sesame and savory sauces. Whether you prefer the hearty Chicken Hibachi or the plant-based delight of the Tofu Hibachi, the vegetables are impeccably stir-fried to maintain their crispness and freshness—an ideal harmony of flavor and health.

Soup enthusiasts will appreciate the depth and warmth of flavorful choices such as the classic Miso Soup, the zesty and aromatic Tom Yum Soup with its spicy, sour kick from fresh shrimp and herbs, or the creamy, coconut-infused Tom Kha Gai Soup, brimming with chicken and mushrooms. Each spoonful is like a comforting embrace, perfect for any season.

But what truly sets Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi Grill apart is its warm and inviting atmosphere—a perfect blend of casual comfort and subtle elegance. Absolutely loved Tsunami. The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the salad was perfectly dressed with a light touch that didn’t overpower it. Everything tasted clean, balanced, and thoughtfully made. Can’t wait to go back.

Very nice dinner place. The people are so sweet and amazing. Everyone loved our baby boy. They all said he is the most happiest baby they have ever seen. Our waitress was amazing she was doing things extra noticing that my baby took my straw, she went and got me a new one. One thing I will say the rice on the sushi was kinda dry like it was a bit crunchy. I also tried the hibachi rice and it was weird too. Still the food was good but rice wasn’t so pleasant maybe it’s the time we came for sure coming back if we are in the area. They do have bathrooms.

We really enjoyed the few vegan/gluten-free rolls Tsunami offers. Edamame was a good starter.

Visiting from Orlando for a concert this weekend and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Presentation was beautiful, and our server, Taryn, was so delightful. Fresh fish and a chill atmosphere? What more could a girl want on a mini vacay!

Had my son’s birthday dinner at Tsunami recently. Atmosphere was very nice and coming up to the building you don’t expect it to be so spacious. We ordered Gyoza and loved how crunchy it was. I had the Steak Hibachi and my kids had the sushi. The portions of the Hibachi were generous and I had leftovers to take home. The sushi looked very good and my kids really liked it. Toward the end of the meal they all came out and sang happy birthday to my son with a sign. Fried ice cream with a candle. Thank you Tsunami for making my son’s birthday special. I will be back.
